Umnachter is a solo acoustic project conceived by Austrian musician Robert Polsterer, and as well as some exemplary guitar playing, it sees him tackling that most under-used of instruments (maybe), the Jews harp. Polsterer attacks the eleven songs that make up this album with such passion and vigour that it's impossible
not to get carried away with him. The songs are instrumental, and though the song titles are written in his native tongue, the moods that he seeks to instil with each tune are easy to identify. A great little record.
